The Hearing Test Process

Our hearing tests include a detailed case history, otoscopy, tympanometry, recording of pure-tone air and bone thresholds as well as speech testing. After your test the results are explained and next steps are recommended such as a referral for further medical consultation and/or hearing devices.

Most evaluations take roughly 60 minutes. A longer appointment may be needed if you require wax removal before the test or re-programming of your current hearing aids after the test.
